Presenting The U.K's Top Rockin' DJ  "Wildcat" Pete
Member Hall Of Fame #251

I started my interest in rock'n'roll music back in 1959 in the school canteen every Friday evening. By 1964 I had started to d.j. in a local youth centre. In 1966 I hit the big time by being discovered by a top agent. The years just flew past so quick and I was able to d.j. at the very first weekender at Caister.

This lasted until the mid-eighties and now I play at nearly every weekender in the U.K. To name just a few: Hemsby, Rhythm Riot, Rockabilly Rave, Wildest Cats in Town and the biggest event called the Americana. Wildcat Pete has played at every holiday resort in Spain, Greece, Italy, Malta and Germany, France and Nevada U.S.A.

Pete was given an award to which no other person outside America has ever received. For 40 years of service to Rock'n'Roll, he received a place hi the Hall Of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A. The only living D.J. to hold this honour.

Other awards include a standing ovation at the Hemsby show which was the first ever. Another and first ever standing ovation occured at the Gold Coast Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.

Pete has for many years been given best DJ. awards and in January 2009 won the Best D.J. Award from the U.K. Rock magazine. This covered every D.J. on the rock'n'roll circuit, even top radio jocks. "Wildcat" Pete won outright by hundreds of votes...
