Rockin' with Dave Peters, Everyday Records

Born Lancashire, UK in the 1950's, the youngest of five brothers, Dave grew up to the sounds of their record collection. He credits his life long passion for original Rock & Roll and Rockabilly to this early influence. At 11 years of age, he turned the strings on an ancient Zenith and his enduring love affair with guitar began.

Attended Leigh Boys Grammar School, formed his first band with his brother Patrick and classmate Garth Davies. Garth went on with another school pal, Pete MacNeish, to form the Buzzcocks. Also in this class was Dave's friend Matt Aitken, later of Stock, Aitken & Waterman. Dave has stayed true to his Rock & Roll beliefs and continues to gig regularly - notching up thousands of live shows to date.

Dave also played back up guitar in concert for Craig Douglas (UK), Peter Belli (DK), Ib Grønbech (DK) and PJ Proby (USA). On hearing Dave play PJ Proby said ".... keep on doing it. Keep on doing it for me and Eddie Cochran"...

And he does...
