The Bad Back Bones - Roots 'n' Billy

The Bad Back Bones kicked of in 2008 when 4 musicians from Helmond (Southern Netherlands) with extensive musical experience (Catslappin' Chrissy, Four Dices, Hi-Tombs, Ernix, Casual Silence, Stardusters) met in a local bar. Their binding love for rockabilly and rock 'n' roll and with the help of their mutual friend Erik van Tilburg (Vibrotones, Hummingbirds, Feliciano's) they eventually sat down together to join forces.

The name Bad Back Bones is originated in the fact that people from Helmond are alleged to all complain about a bad back. (for which never any scientific proof has been delivered... ;))

The Bad Back Bones bring a powerful mix of Rockabilly, Rock 'n' Roll, Country, Blues, Swing, Americana, Tex Mex and just about everything that sounds like it in their own special way. They combine self penned songs with well known and less known covers and do this with great musicality and an inexhaustible enthusiasm.

They don't only play at festivals or bars, but, on special demand, also at people's birthdays and on market squares. Grand and affluent, but also modest and intimate (semi- or entirely acoustical). In consultation anything is possible!

The Bad Back Bones are:
Ernst Le Cocq d'Armandville - Vocals & Acoustical Guitar
Marnix den Biggelaar - Vocals & Electrical Guitar
Mike van Lierop - Vocals & Doghouse Bass
Charles Verrijt - Vocals & Drums
